Blue eyes is the technology to make computers sense and understand human behavior and feelings and react in the proper ways. Blue Eyes  technology conducted by the research team of IBM at its Almaden Research Center (ARC) in San Jose, California since 1997.
In blue eyes technology blue stands for Bluetooth and eyes stand for eye movements which enable to get the information. The idea behind blue eye technology is to give the computer the human power. 
The Blue Eyes technology system is a combination of a set of hardware and software systems.The hardware consists of a DAU (Data Acquisition Unit), CSU (Central System Unit). These two devices are interconnected by Bluetooth. The function of DAU is to collect information from the sensor and send it to Bluetooth and it also delivers the message which is sent from CSU to the operator. On the other hand, CSU provides visualization interface by buffering incoming sensor data.
What is the Need for Blue Eyes Technology
  • To build a machine which can interact with human, which can understand emotions and feel our presence.
  • The user may not notice important changes of indications causing financial or ecological consequences, which is a threat to human life. Thus, it is crucial that operators brain is involved in an active system supervising over the whole work time period.
  • The control instruments within the machine have automated it to large extent, thus Human operator becomes a passive observer of the supervised system, resulting in weariness and vigilance drop, but the user needs to be active.
 Benefits of Blue Eyes Technology are - 
  • It is used in video games, to make them more interactive and exciting.
  • Physiological condition monitoring (blood oxygenation,pulse rate), operator’s position detection.
  • It helps in eye monitoring by recording and interpreting customer’s movement. 
  • It is helpful in captain bridges,flight control center , power plant control room .
Some Technologies used in Blue Eyes Technology :
  • Artificial intelligent speech recognition: In this technology input words are scanned and matched against those words which are internally stored and then for identification users speak to the computer via microphone. Those words are filtered and fed to ADC and then store in the RAM.
  • Simple user interest tracker: Simple user interest tracker or SUITOR helps in tracking the user’s behavior through multiple channels – web browsing,gaze, application focus. By observing the user’s behavior SUITOR finds and display relevant information.
  • The eye movement sensor: It is a device used to measure eye movement and eye position. A personal area network for linking all the operators and supervising center with the help of DAU and CSU.
  • Emotional mouse:  An emotional mouse is used to evaluate user’s emotion like  happiness ,anger, fear,etc. It also helps to get behavior information (mouse movement, finger pressure) and physiological information (skin temperature,heart rate ECG/EKG).

1971 January 30 : An Indian Airlines plane on its way from Srinagar to Jammu was hijacked by Hashim Quereshi and Ashraf Quereshi of the JKLF, who took it to Lahore. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, then Foreign Minister of Pakistan rushed to Lahore and met the hijackers and helped them get maximum international publicity. On February 1, he persuaded them to release the crew and passengers who were then sent by road to Amritsar. The Government of India sought permission of Pakistan to send a replacement crew to fly the aircraft back to India. Pakistan authorities denied the permission. Instead it is alleged they supplied petrol to the hijackers with which they burnt the aircraft on February 2.
